It all started with a spark of curiosity
I always dreamed of being a journalist.
I have a creative mind, I love writing, traveling and talking to people.
I have a passion for the art of storytelling - and it brings me so
much fulfillment and joy to tell people's stories every day.
Today
I'm a digital reporter at NBC News in New York, and one of the co-hosts of our Gen Z platform 'Stay Tuned' with over 10 million subscribers on social. My award-winning reporting on AI technology, education and identity has been broadcasted on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, The TODAY Show, MSNBC and NBC News NOW.
I take great pride in being one of the youngest journalists at the network level and I'm eager to platform young changemakers across the country while digesting national topics with a digital-first Gen Z lens. I'm constantly learning from the incredibly talented teams I work with across and feel truly honored to be among some of the most respected journalists in this industry.
I'm passionate about on the ground reporting, telling the truth, and having some heart. Learning from each other, and listening to a variety of perspectives is the best way we can try to navigate this world together.
Yesterday
I grew up in the DC area in the heart of a bustling news town. My mom worked in the marketing department at a local news station, and some of my earliest memories involved running around the newsroom and sitting in the control room in awe at the infinite number of screens...
After years of morning news announcements, tv production and newspaper classes, I decided my interest in journalism could turn into a fulfilling career. I attended Elon University in North Carolina and served as a reporter, anchor and eventually the news director for our student broadcast station.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Journalism and 4 internships. My first full-time position was at NBC News in New York working in production for the Rachel Maddow Show and Meet The Press Daily with Chuck Todd.
Tomorrow
I'll be continuing my evolution as a journalist, adapting to new technologies and trends as they arise. I'll be opening gates to help educate other storytellers as they navigate their careers. I'll be making space for the unexpected, taking opportunities as they come and will always stay curious for my next story.
